Proper care will keep your NOMATIC gear performing at its best for years to come and having a Life Well Lived. Please follow the guidelines below to get the most out of your NOMATIC gear.

BAGS, LUGGAGE & GEAR CARE

All Bags & Gear — General Rules
• Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild soap - do not machine wash
• Air dry completely before storing
• Do not overpack beyond the stated capacity
• Keep zippers clean and free of debris
• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
• Do not use bleach, solvents, or harsh chemicals

Travel Packs & Backpacks (20L & 14L)
Exterior - Wipe with damp cloth and mild soap
Zippers - Clean with a soft brush - apply zipper lubricant periodically
Drying - Air dry only - no heat
Storage - Store unpacked in a cool dry place

Navigator & Navigator RS Series
Exterior - Wipe with damp cloth - do not machine wash
Water Resistance - Refresh with a *DWR spray after extended use - *use at own risk
Zippers - Keep tamper-resistant zippers clean - use zipper wax if stiff
Drying - Air dry fully before storage

Tech Case & Messenger Bag
Exterior - Wipe with damp cloth and mild soap
Interior Foam - Spot clean only with a lightly damp cloth - do not saturate
Drying - Air dry completely before storage

Laptop Bag
Exterior - Wipe with damp cloth - coated nylon repels light moisture
Zippers - Clean gently - avoid abrasion on coated YKK zippers
Interior Foam - Spot clean only
Drying - Air dry only

Collapsible Line
Exterior - Wipe with damp cloth - do not machine wash
Storage - Collapse and store flat - avoid twisting or compressing
Drying - Air dry completely before collapsing for storage

McKinnon Camera Gear
Exterior - Wipe with damp cloth and mild soap
Camera Dividers - Spot clean only - remove before cleaning the main compartment
Drying - Air dry fully before reinserting gear
Capacity - Do not overload - camera gear is heavy and stresses seams

Exterior Materials - Polycarbonate / Nylon
Interior Materials - Nylon / Polyester
Exterior Care - Wipe with a soft damp cloth and mild soap - do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads
Interior Care - Wipe interior lining with a lightly damp cloth - allow to air dry fully before closing
Wheels & Hardware - Wipe with a damp cloth - keep wheel wells clear of debris
Zippers - Clean with a soft brush - apply zipper lubricant if stiff
Storage - Store upright in a cool dry place - do not stack heavy items on top
Scuff Note - Surface scuffs from handling are a normal part of travel and are not covered under warranty. A third-party luggage cover is highly recommended to protect your luggage during airline handling.

Shell Care - Wipe polycarbonate shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap - do not use abrasive sponges, acetone, or solvent-based cleaners which will permanently cloud or crack the shell
Interior Care - Wipe interior with a lightly damp cloth - air dry fully before closing
Wheels - Wipe with a damp cloth - remove hair or debris from wheel wells periodically
Handle Wipe aluminum handle with a dry or lightly damp cloth - do not submerge
YKK Zippers - Clean with a soft brush - lubricate with zipper wax if stiff
Scuff Note - Polycarbonate shells can scuff during airline handling. A third-party luggage cover is highly recommended to protect your luggage in transit.

PRO TIP: We highly recommend using a third-party luggage cover when checking your bag with an airline. Airline handling can cause surface scuffs and scratches that are outside of NOMATIC's control and are not covered under our warranty. A luggage cover is the easiest way to keep your bag looking great trip after trip.
